NoBo Art District had an old site built in Cargo which was difficult to maintain, not mobile friendly, and provided no means to manage memberships (which were done in an Excel spreadsheet).

By converting the site to WordPress, we were able to integrate a membership plugin to manage both membership renewals and artist portfolios. Each artist is able to submit and maintain their own online portfolio. Volunteer staff is able to easily update the site with new images from events each month and First Friday Art Walk details. Business members can also maintain their business list and get visibility for their support of the organization. The site uses MemberPress plugin for the membership features, Formidable Pro for the member listings, The Events Calendar for events, and NextGEN Gallery for the home page image gallery. The site is fully mobile friendly and a great resource for the community in North Boulder.
